REAL JERK COME FROM JAMAICA – WALKERSWOOD JERK

Walkerswood Caribbean Foods is a rare and original brand, born in the lush fertile hills and valleys of middle Jamaica where flavour is more than a taste.

Walkerswood is the name of a village tucked away in the lush, green hills of St. Ann in rural Jamaica. The farmers of Walkerswood provide the scotch bonnet peppers, which are the foundation of Walkerswood Jerk seasonings and sauces.

It is there you will find the Walkerswood Caribbean Foods Factory where we prepare our range of delicious sauces, seasonings and condiments from the freshly harvested produce grown in the surrounding country side.

The quintessential Jamaican culinary experience is undoubtedly a meal with something “jerked”. Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork are most well-known, but seafood and vegetables are also very amenable to having their flavours enhanced by Walkerswood’s line of traditional Jerk Seasonings and Sauces.

“Jerking” is the most popular method of Jamaican cooking. This is a traditional method of rubbing meats and vegetables with a spicy seasoning paste (Jerk Seasoning) and then cooking over a slow wood fire with the meats spread across pimento (all spice) sticks which add the smokey intrigue of the traditional Jerk Pit.

With Walkerswood seasonings, sauces and condiments, you can easily bring the delicious, authentic flavours of Jamaican cuisine into your own kitchen.
